This scientific and theological article is an attempt to systematically and concisely present a quantitatively new argument in favor of the existence of God, properly presented in the book of the author of this article “The Higher Plan. Correspondence polemic with Stephen Hawking”. The argument was deployed in two stages. The first stage, described in the first part of this article, is drawing a demarcation line between consciousness and blind chance. That is, the differentiation of events that can occur only as a result of logical conscious activity, but cannot occur as a result of random processes. In this regard, a new universal theoretical model is proposed, consistent with the existence of all observable material structures, both physical (atoms, cosmic systems, the universe) and biological (living organisms, people). The model is strictly scientific, has a mathematical justification system that allows empirical verification of the assumptions put forward. According to this model, material structures: 1) cannot be formed and maintained stable in the processes of absolute chaos; 2) cannot be transformed into each other through random modifications or by gradual or abrupt (quantum) transition. This means the impossibility of evolutionary processes but the construction of material structures only as a result of conscious intelligent activity. In the following parts of the article, the second stage of this argument will be considered.
