Abstract

On April 27, 2023, the Theology Department of the Sretensky Theological Academy held the Second Sectological Conference (with international participation), during which a number of papers were presented in the following areas: the activities of Pentecostals and neo-Pentecostals and spiritual security of Russia; classifications of Pentecostals and neo-Pentecostals in religious studies, Western sociology and Russian sectology; the relationship of doctrine and spiritual experience in neo-Pentecostalism; triadology and christology in neo-Pentecostalism; the nature of glossolalia and the practice of encounter; emotionalism in Pentecostalism; eschatology; the practice of reconciliation with the Church of former neo-pentecostals; manifestations of the phenomenon of neo-Pentecostalism in Russia.
