Professor A.V. Podosinov’s book is devoted to how a person navigated in space in numerous archaic cultures of Eurasia. It pays attention to both the general research issues and materials related to Christianity. After a detailed analysis of the orientation of religious actions, religious buildings, bodies of buried people, geographical maps the author of the book comes to the conclusion that Christianity has established a single sacred side for all spheres — the east.
